I’m Ross Statham, the Owner and “Chief Handyman” of Pinetree Home Services in Chipley, Florida. My wife and I moved to Florida in 2014 from metro Atlanta, where I had founded and grew a tech services company. My kids and grandkids like to say about me, “Pop fixes things and I know stuff.”
That’s true enough- I do know things and fix stuff. But any skills I have with my hands take second place to adding value, function and beauty to your home– and then making sure that what we say and what we do is right for YOU. That’s been my mantra for over 30 years.
Originally from north Texas, I’m a University of Alabama alumni and a six year US Army veteran, where I served with the Third US Infantry Regiment doing drill and ceremony work in Washington DC for five of my six years. (I was a musician and NCO.) After the Army I finished my degree while working in technical and sales roles in corporate America, including seven years with the Japanese. I eventually started my own tech firm in Atlanta, and in 2025 I decided to become “semi-retired”. I started Pinetree a year later. (My wife says I have too much energy. I guess I do.)
