Do you want “warm” lighting as is pictured above and below, or do you prefer the brighter “daylight” lighting that some people use in some of their rooms? Lighting upgrades can sometimes be as simple as replacing a two-bulb sixty-watt fixture with a three-bulb 75 watt fixture. Or in the case of a recent large bathroom remodel, replacing a two-bulb ceiling fixture with track lighting (which really transformed the space).
This home had a glass built-in China cabinet that not only needed repair, but it needed interior lighting. After restoring the cabinet to its former beauty, we added inexpensive 120 volt bright white “puck” lights to the entire cabinet with a remote control and timer. The lights are dimmable as well- you set the level of brightness you want. The homeowner says she “Loves it!”
